Oneplus have announced Oneplus 11 mobile phone which is the best for travellers and gamers. This mobile phone has the latest snapdragon Gen 2 processor and comes with 8GB and 16GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB ROM. OnePlus 11 price is starting from £729 to £799 for the RAM and ROM. By focusing on practicality and affordability, the OnePlus 11 proves that sometimes less is indeed more.
OnePlus 11 Review: Specifications Explained
The Oneplus 11 camera system has been improved through a partnership with Hasselblad, but there is no telephoto lens and no wireless charging is supported. Additionally, fast charging has been downgraded compared to the previous OnePlus 10 model. Its other features are standard for its price range. The device features a 6.7 inches 120Hz LPTO AMOLED display and is available in two colours: matte “titan” black and gloss “eternal” green.
It stands out on the rear of the phone with a stainless steel ring surrounding the three cameras and LED flash, arranged in a square, and the Hasselblad logo prominently displayed in the centre. A feature that may not be noticeable is that the phone has a rating to protect against dust and water. Oneplus phone has strong glass on the front and back to protect it from scratches and scuffs.
Display:
The phone has a big screen measuring 6.7 inches and a high resolution of 1,440 x 3,216. The display can run smoothly with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, but it can also lower the refresh rate to 1Hz to save battery when using the always-on feature. It also has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as support for sRGB and Display P3 colour gamut. The display on the phone is set to look great with its high maximum brightness of 1,300cd/m² and its contrast ratio is perfect.
According to OnePlus, this level of brightness can be achieved by displaying a small white patch on a black background. But I was unable to make the peak brightness go beyond 700cd/m². After checking every setting, turning ON and OFF auto-brightness, I couldn’t reach the claimed maximum brightness of 1,300cd/m².
Camera:
The display of the phone may not be great, but the cameras are really good. The main camera is called the portrait module and it’s like a 2x zoom lens that takes high-quality pictures at 32MP with an f/2.8 aperture. When it works right, the pictures it takes to have clear subjects and a beautiful blur effect. If we compare the iPhone 14 Pro Max with OnePlus 11 then it is really good and better than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, especially for skin tones.
OnePlus says this phone is different because it has a special sensor for finding the right colours. This sensor works for all the rear cameras, including the main 50MP camera and the 48MP ultrawide camera. It helps the phone take good portrait pictures and also works well in challenging lighting.
Processor or Performance
OnePlus 11 phone has an 8-core processor with one fast core running at 3.2GHz, four mid-speed cores at 2.8GHz, and three low-power cores at 2GHz. The graphics processor is an Adreno 740 running at 680MHz, and the memory and storage are fast LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 types.
This means the phone is faster than the iPhone 14 Plus and its competitors with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but not quite as fast as the “Made for Samsung” Gen 2 in the Galaxy S23.
Its battery performance is too good like its camera and speed performance. it has a 5000 mAh battery with 100-watt fast charge. As it is a new Gen 2 mobile phone, it should have wireless charging and it is possible that the Oneplus will launch such type of mobile phone very soon.
